The results are in... I didn't win on my chili. I actually liked my chili and I am not a big fan of chili. My mom thinks I got there too late to enter the contest (that's a surprise... me .... late). It was fun. I did do it last minute since I got up at 8:30 to go get the ingredients. I was going to cook it last night but moving Travis took a lot longer than either of us expected. Possibly due to the fact that NOTHING WAS BOXED!
Chipotle was yum. Everybody be praying for my friend Cory. He starts chemo on Friday.
I have a confession to make.... I am addicted to the Newlyweds. I love watching Nick and Jessica :)

Chipotle

I love chipotle. I get to eat it tomorrow (well, now today). In exactly 12 hours. Yum. I can't wait. Me and Cory and Jeremy are all getting together. It's gonna be fun and yum.
I am also getting to (not so much getting to, as having to) help Travis move. It shouldn't be too hard. I don't think he has that much stuff. Now on the other hand.... when I move to the new house, I will need a million people to help out. raise your hand if you wish to volunteer :)
Don't forget - Jen's chili rules! I am also making cornbread. I'm the queen of the kitchen.

Apple
I think I want an Ipod. The mini ipods are so cute and pretty. They have like 5 colors to choose from! I could jam in style. I was told that I should get an mp3 player instead. The ipods are having a contest. Nothing I like better than free songs.
I am actually excited about superbowl this weekend. We are going to be having real snacks and the commercials are great. Nothing can top the snickers panda commercial, of course, but they will try. (If you haven't seen the commercial, it's in my links) Mom, Stacey, and I will do a puzzle while the boys watch and talk about sports. Fun!
I get to go into Timberlawn today. I love working there (for free). Everything changed from day to day and the people are so interesting. It can also be really sad sometimes. Their lives have been so hard. I can't imagine living through what they have all lived through. I am so lucky to be who I am and have the family and friends that I do. They really make me grateful for what I have. (You can breathe again, cheesy moment has passed)

Who wants CHILI?

Our church is having a Chili Cook-off on Saturday. I am going to make some chili and try to win that stinkin' contest. I made it last year without using a recipe (it didnt work out well). Everyone should come out and taste my chili and vote for me!!!! VOTE FOR JEN ! I think rice goes well in chili, apparently nobody else agreed.

anyone know how to put pictures directly on here?

I have been working so hard at making my blog pretty. I have learned SO MUCH in the past two days. I am also helping Travis put his together. (Not as cool as mine... he can figure it out himself - unless I get lots of gifts out of it) I have yet to figure out how to put a picture directly on here. HELP

What the heck???

BRISTOL, England - Although many college students face
rising debt, a college student in England is auctioning her
virginity on the Internet for cash. Rosie Reid, who attends
Bristol University, in Bristol, England, placed an ad in
cyberspace nine days ago and she said she's been flooded
with offers, the Herald Sun reported. The 18-year-old said
one offer was for $23,500. "I want to be able to concentrate
on my studies without worrying about money," said Reid, a
first-year student. "It seemed that my virginity was some-
thing really valuable, yet at the same time something I
could do without."

Blogging is fun!

This is great. I just write whatever and people read it! Blogging is great.
My bed broke two days ago. I spent the night before last on the floor and last night I finally dug out the stuff from under my bed (stuff I had been looking for for years! We found Bambi's bunny and a free six flags ticket from 2001). I took it off the slats and now am sleeping with my mattresses directly on the floor. I like it there... very "poor college student" but mom doesn't want to sell the house without me having a bed. It'll be the futon for me!
We went and carved our names into the garage of our house. At least, I think it's the garage. It's all concrete right now. I am going to try to scan some pictures in that Tim took. That way everyone can see the progress of the house and Tim's studio. It is very exciting!

We had to take this test in my Counseling class. I am an ISFJ. I think it fits me pretty close.

Here we go...

Hi everyone! After reading my friend David's blog and then hearing that John started his own blog, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I thought it would be good to have this so everyone could see the pics my brother is taking of the house. I normally don't have super interesting websites or stuff to say like those other blogs. Just normal every day stuff.
Like today... I got my last tax form in. I get to file now! WOO HOO. (see, I told you)
I did decide yesterday that I am NEVER subbing for junior high schools ever again. Give me elementary or high school kids anyday! It was madness.
